DAY 01: ARRIVE PARO – THIMPHU

• While flying to Paro, the traveler will experience wonderful and incredible view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Jhomolhari and Mt. Jichu Drake in Bhutan. On arrival at Paro International Airport you will be received by representative from Benji Bhutan Tours & Travels.
• Ride on Valley of Paro Town
• Overnight in Paro

DAY 02: PARO – A DAY EXCURSION TO TAKTSHANG

• Drive up Satsam Chorten (10 km from Paro) and from there walk to Taktsang monastery, known as the “Tiger’s Nest.” Lunch at Taktsang. The hike takes about 4 hours.
• After lunch, visit Drugyal Dzong (a ruined palace), 16 km from Paro. Then visit Kyichu Lhakhang (Lhakhang means temple) and the National Museum.
• Overnight in Paro.

 DAY 3&4: PARO – THIMPHU (2 days)

• Ride to Thimphu
• Next morning visit to colorful vegetable market; the Memorial Chorten and the National Library. After lunch visit the handmade paper factory and the school of Thangka painting. Stroll around town.
• Overnight in Thimphu

DAY 05: THIMPHU – WANGDUE PHODRAND VALLEY (5 hours)

• Ride on the bikes to Wangdue (79 km). On the way stop to benefit of view on Dochula Pass, and also the extraordinary view of Gasa Dzong.
• Overnight in Wangdue.

DAY 06: WANGDUE PHODRANG – TRONGSA (6 hours)

• After breakfast hike on the bike and climbing to the Col du Pelela where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Himalayas and the pass that separates the West from other parts of the country.
• We will stop for Lunch at
• Overnight in Trongsa.

Day 07: TRONGSA – BUMTHANG VALLEY (5 hours)

• After breakfast visit Trongsa Dzong from, one of the largest Dzongs in the country, the former residence of the royal family. Visit also the Ta Dzong (Watch Tower) and stroll through the small town of Trongsa. Lunch in Trongsa.
• Ride the bike to Bumthang valley, is one of the most spectacular journeys in Bhutan.
• Overnight in Bumthang

DAY 08: BUMTHANG- A DAY EXCURSION TO URA VALLEY

• A day excursion to Ura Valley. Ura has a Buddhist monastery surrounded by traditional Bhutanese farmhouses.
• Lunch in the valley of Ura.
• Overnight in Bumthang

DAY 09: BUMTHANG – SIGHT SEEING

• Morning visit Tha Jampa Lhakhang, Tamshing Lhakhang and then Kencho Sum Lhakhang.
• Overnight guesthouse.

DAY 10: BUMTHANG – TRONGSA – WANGDUE VIA GANGTEY

• Drive to Wangdue Phodrang via Gangtey Valley is a beautiful valley situated at an altitude of 3000m.
• Lunch and drive to Wangdue Phobjikha
• Overnight in Wangdue Phodrang

DAY 11: WANGDUE – PUNAKHA – PARO

• Drive to the town of Punakha and Punakha Dzong. Punakha Dzong lies between two major rivers with a splendid view of Punakha Dzong. Rivers are called Phochu (Male River) and Mochu (Female River).
• Lunch at Punakha.
• Afternoon towards Paro.
• Overnight in Paro

DAY 12: PARO – PARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT 

• Early breakfast and drive to Paro International Airport and Benji Bhutan Tours & Travels will accompany you and bid farewell as you embark on your onward journey back home.
